Diemme´s manufacturing process: Modern thinking combined with a rich Italian heritage

For three decades the label’s ambition is to produce the highest quality artisan goods with an exceptional level of comfort, incorporating progressive design as well as sharply executed takes on classic styles.
All shoes from Diemme are made in Italy in Onè di Fonte. This small town in the northeast of Italy is considered one of the most important areas for the production and development of performance footwear. In addition to its own line, Diemme has produced footwear for for brands such as Maison Martin Margiela, Chanel, Bottega Veneta, and cult Japanese brands like Nonnative and Victim. Diemme draws on the rich heritage of the region to create a modern product based on high-performance production methods.
Every step of the production process is carried out on site in Onè di Fonte. All shoes are made fatto a mano. By hand. Therefore one single pair of Diemme takes six hours to produce. Every shoe, regardless if it is sneaker or hiking boot, goes through 50 steps in a meticulous process, that is overlooked by the founders Dennis and Maico Signor, who still work each day in the factory. Sustainability and provenance are key aspects of the Diemme mentality. Buy less, and buy better. Higher material quality, better production and construction quality, made by workers that are rewarded for their skills.
