House of Dagmar believes in creating products that last a lifetime without polluting the earth. Sustainability already starts with the design process. The Scandinavian brand uses the most sustainable alternatives available. They use materials with less impact on the environment and at the same time try to secure a good fit and excellent quality.  Majority of the pieces are made from organic and recycled materials. Their effort towards a sustainable brand has been rewarded with the Zalando award at Copenhagen Fashion Week Sustainability in February 2021.
During the years 2015 and 2019, HOD took part in the EU LIFE funded project ECAP. This project takes action in reducing clothing waste across Europe.During these four years, the project aimed to divert clothing waste from landfills and reduce waste footprint of clothing across Europe. In addition, they encouraged resource-efficient design and influenced consumers into buying smarter and using clothes for a long time.
Furthermore, House of Dagmar is a member of the Swedish Initiative for Climate Action (STICA). This collaboration supports setting science-based targets with the goal to reduce greenhouse gases.
