Store Manager Christian Wijnants Store

Start Date: Immediately, Location: Berlin

The Store Manager is the key driver of sales and excellent customer service in the store. This role is accountable for key performance indicators (KPI's), meeting financial expectations, and crafting a team environment.

General Tasks

  • Responsible for leading all aspects of retail store
  • Create a performance culture to deliver KPIs, meet or exceed store financial projections and improve revenue opportunities
  • Partner with the headquarter to recap monthly store performance in end-of-month format and reporting current business trends to cover every aspect of the business
  • Support and maintain visual merchandising standards set by headquarter
  • Generate positive results in a manner that is consistent with Christian Wijnants’ values
  • Maintain product inventories on a monthly base and support stock levels through direct communication with the headquarter to maximize full price selling and maintaining a high sell through
  • Hire, train and coach employees on the sales and service model
  • Be a role model and motivate employees to attain team sales goals daily

Client Development

  • Lead the team to consistently establish relationships and propose local events through continuous networking
  • Lead the team on executing superior customer service and after sales experience to increase and retain customer loyalty
  • Capture meaningful customer data for the purpose of building relationships to personalize future client development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum of at least 2 years of retail sales experience
  • Minimum of 1 year management experience is preferred
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Apple Software, POS and digital literacy
  • Possess a principled level of business ethics and integrity
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make independent decisions
  • Well developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write German and English
  • Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Represent the Christian Wijnants image through appropriate wardrobe and presence per the company grooming standards
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
