Founded in the heart of Derbyshire Peak District, our mill is proudly recognised as the world’s oldest continuously operating factory still manufacturing today. For over 240 years, generations of skilled craftspeople have combined innovation, craftsmanship and the finest natural fibres to create timeless knitwear made to last.

Our commitment to British manufacturing and exceptional quality has been honoured with two Royal Warrants, by His Majesty King Charles III in May 2024, and by Her Majesty Queen Camilla in May 2026 - a reflection of our enduring dedication to craftsmanship, excellence and heritage.
